Privacy Policy
Effective date: February 16, 2026
Dew is built with a simple principle: your data is yours. This policy explains what information the app accesses, how it's used, and — just as importantly — what Dew doesn't do.
What Dew accesses
Dew integrates with Apple Reminders to display and manage your tasks. To do this, the app requests permission to access your Reminders through Apple's EventKit framework. This is the only data Dew reads or writes.
Dew may also send you local notifications to remind you about tasks. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device and are not sent through any external service.
What stays on your device
Everything. Dew has no server, no database, and no cloud component. Your tasks, preferences, and any other data the app uses never leave your device. There is no account to create and nothing to sign into.
Data collection
Dew does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:
- No analytics or usage tracking
- No crash reporting services
- No advertising or ad networks
- No third-party SDKs that collect data
- No cookies, identifiers, or fingerprinting
Third-party services
Dew does not use any third-party services. The only integration is with Apple's own Reminders system, which is managed by Apple under their privacy policy.
Children's privacy
Because Dew does not collect any data whatsoever, there is no special risk to children's privacy. The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes — for example, if Dew adds new features that access additional data — this page will be updated with a new effective date. Significant changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
